The First Tee's LIFE SKILLS EXPERIENCE

The First Tee (TFT) was created to introduce young people from all walks of life to the fun and excitement of golf.  Kids involved in TFT will learn the basics of golf.  We intend to provide youngsters who enroll in The First Tee's Life Skills Experience with a total experience, one that encourages them to learn the life-long game of golf.  Through golf, participants learn personal and social skills such as respect for rules and other players, integrity and sportsmanship, as well as the value of self-reliance, self-control and the ability to set goals and work persistently to realize them.  The Life Skills Experience ultimately strives to instill in participants the Nine Core Values of The First Tee: Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Respect, Courtesy, Judgment, Confidence, Responsibility and Perseverance.
